Old components
Re: Old components
I was in croydon some years ago and looked in Geoff Butler's. I said to the young salesman he had more money on display in the window than I had ever seen in a shop , must be a huge racing fraternity in croydon then. He said no, really he thought most of them did 10miles at the weekends in summer and went to the station and back in the week.

I visited a cafe in Gloucester that had coasters that were old Campag sprockets with stuck-on cork patches on the underside to protect the furniture, and they looked good.

Peppers, down the alley between Westgate St and the multistorey car park?
I've never been in, but I believe that it's run by Ann Wooldridge, of RAAM fame.
