Do you know of a cycle route approaching Marseille airport from the West, from Fos sur Mer area.

Zooming on google maps; Looks like you can use D5 through Martigues, Ancienne route de Marseille which runs parallel to A55, pass L Mede on Avenue Mirabeau and Emille Cotte, D568, D9 and D20 to airport. Quick look via street view with the little man shows the D20 might not be best of roads but seems to have a shoulder to ride on... Once there, there might well be a signed cycle route?
