Revolution Bikes Discontinued

Post by AdamS »

I do not know if this has been discussed on the forum but I jhave just noticed that the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative website no longer shows any of their own 'Revolution' branded bikes, so it seems that they have been discontinued. If so it is a very sad loss. It was great to have an indepedent 'manufacturer' producing value for money bikes in a range which always included a couple of tourers.

Not just their bikes, they used to do a range of Revolution stuff including clothing and accessories, but it all seems to have gone from the website except for a couple of lights.

https://www.edinburghbicycle.com/info/r ... y-raleigh/ says they're currently unavailable, which implies they'll return, but you could ask in a comment on that page.

Revolution products have often gone out of stock between versions but I don't think the bikes have missed a year before.

They sent a mail out recently, I’ve deleted and can’t recover, saying all revolution now discontinued. No reason offered but a replacement brand was being substituted as a bicycle suggestion.
