I'd like some secateurs that close up so they don't have any sharp edges exposed that will snag/damage panniers when carried. Anyone seen some?

Old joke: I never knew secateurs were part of a cyclists' toolkit until I moved to Norfolk.

That's very kind, thank you very much! Your list is great - the dry bags sound so useful. Thanks also for the advice/reminder about the amount of variation currently available. I'll keep that in mind.

Merry Christmas to you!

Cameron and Osborne get a lump of coal and put in the naughty book - they have done so much damage to the poor of this country.

For the human race to be at peace with one another. Nothing more, nothing less.
Our streets are littered with expensive, rotting and polluting tin cans obstructing the free passage of pedestrians, horses, cyclists and motor vehicles

Amen,

That would be an amazing Christmas miracle, one which deep down everyone would love to come true.

But till then, the realist in me would like a wahoo element.
The bicycle is a simple solution to some of the world's most complicated problems.

A new body.
My brain is fine, it's my body that's wearing out.

I have all I need cycling-wise, except for new lungs, heart and legs. These are the engine, and it's the engine that's wearing out.

I need a new engine.

Hi - who is Mick F? This sounds like it could be something I would like to include in the article. Why would it be a fascinating read for you?

Thanks,

Nat

I wrote a booklet entitled "Cars I have Known" about all the cars we had as a child, and all the cars I've owned and driven as an adult.
I also wrote another entitled "My Incredible Career" about my time in the Royal Navy 1969 to 1996.

Nowt about cycling other than a few blogs.
