Thanks, but I think yakdiver is more likely to get his wish granted than I am!

same here, I'm much happier being a pessimist as I am rarely wrong. every year she asks me what I want to xmas and every year I know what I'd like to get (a special xmas hug) but never get one so I refuse to do anything bar cooking the dinner.

she's at her parents this year so I'm trying to spell humbug in xmas lights on the sliding gate. :D

A Cateye Volt is good. 300, 1200 etc, they are all good. What I dont want is cheap mickey mouse lights that end up cluttering my draws. I also dont want stick on LEDs to go on my shoes or LED arm bands. If there is something I need, Ive already got it.

Cycling clothes such as Lycra. Yeah I wear these sometimes. I only ever purchased one set of lycra, in plain black. Relatives have bought me kit with fancy team colors. No idea what teams they actually are tho. To me they are just stylish cycle clothing but are actually used.

Puncture repair kits are always handy. Dont do metal valve caps or tyre levers tho.

Could do with some decent cycling gloves for winter. I have got ones that keep my hands warm in freezing weather, but they are a bit clumsy for gear shifting.

Not interested in cycling cameras. Tempting fate. Sods law the one time I dont take it is the one time I come a cropper.

So there's some stuff I want and dont want

What I want:- Elastic sided garage to accommodated N=1, a work out area, and turbo system.....

What I will actually get remains to be seen...
