Trouser clips
Re: Trouser clips
Don't you have to be the co-op insurance man to wear those clips?

I have always dressed out of fashion, so don't have a problem nowadays as I don't wear long trousers at all on bike
What you stuck with bell bottoms
Cissy guards might not suit the purist but oil on your calf is just as ugly
Some poppers sewn into the trousers would be a neat idea and you'll never lose the bands.
Its catching the laces on the pedal when putting foot down brings on panic
I still have a chainguard on most bikes because it is annoying to rub the chain on your clothes, even well back along the stay.
Laces aren't a problem for me because I have tied them with a bias to the outside of the bike for years - even when not cycling
Totally enclosed chain is surely the way to go. I cycle to work, upright and leisurely, dare I say gentlemanly, in my office attire. A rain cape is all that is required for foul weather.

That’s a epic idea, will have to try that one, thanks

Personally it will be any old sock, which will be mainly black for me.
