...Sven Cycles in Portland?

Post by Rabbit »

Anyone have any experience of bikes from Sven Cycles in Portland (Weymouth)? Some friends have just ordered a couple of bikes and my wife is thinking of getting one. Be interested to know what people think...

I saw them at Bespoked last year - very pretty indeed, and a noticeably wider range of designs than most, who cater for the weekend road rider, but no experience per se.

The bikes look interesting. Don't let anyone from Portland hear you saying it's Weymouth though - an entirely separate and very independent place - even the local council is called Weymouth and Portland.

Well they're in Weymouth then not Portland.

I just mentioned Weymouth so people didn't think it was Portland, Oregon!

To be fair, Portland, Oregon does have a bit more of a reputation for cycling than Portland, Dorset...
