Garmin edge touring plus problem.

I have been using my sons Garmin edge touring plus for a few years and he used it a while before I acquired it.
I have read some bad comments about them but up until recently its be behaving impeccably.
On the last couple of occasions when using it some functions weren’t working, in fact only current speed and time of day were, and then it turns itself off.
I haven’t used the maps much but it was nice to record my rides and share them with my son on strava.
Is it dead??

Have you either updated it or listened to a Windows PC wanting to check the file system for errors?
IME ignore the file system error alert, and updates occasionally go wrong
Manual link...try p6, resetting the device, and if necessary p7, clearing user data
If that doesn't work then it's a phone call to Garmin

My 810 has altered the settings a couple times during a ride. Maybe I pressed something that caused this. What I'm getting at is check the settings / pages to see if they are still as you want.
