I had exactly the same experience as David F, and am curious but not desperate to know my Favori's age. Turns out (see other thread) to have someone's postcode on it too.

I have Ellis Briggs frame 2126 which, I have been told, was built in 1956.
Winter had arrived in the land of Kernow. Along with it came wet roads and cool winds.
“Oh, my wheels and coupling rods!” Peetee exclaimed.
