Painful index finger

[QUIST]

I've been to Hospital/GP/physio re Index finger to no avail so can anyone suggest a book of exercises which might strenthen it?

It feels swollen all the time

X-rays showed no arthritis and it seems to have resulted from pedestrian (me) being bumped into by cyclist

It now hurts all the time whereas up to about Jan it c hurt sporadically and I could moistly close it fully - this is not possible any mopre
