Boardman CX Comp vs ADV

Has anyone had one of the Boardman CX Comps and of so any feedback on it at all as a budget bike.

Also if anyone has any idea on how much more CX orientated the geometry is compared to a gravel bike as I think they're now moving towards the ADV Adventure range ..... I want it more for touring type riding than racing so may be better off getting a gravel bike instead although these seemed very reasonable at the cost to try this style of bike initially and see how I get on with it as I haven't ridden drops for years.
