Hi,
Side entry Elite Nane, yet to try but these side entry types are normally associated with MTB's.

I normally mount extra bottle on the mud guard bosses on underside of mtb frame front down tube / use some zefal plastic bosses, Links up post, if none exist then you can use normal bottle cages.

I have used plastic bottle cages for lightness but you need a bungee with horizontal top tubes.
Normally I use-

Front sloping frame down tube , most bike have bosses there.
Seat tube, tourers and mtb frames mostly have dual bosses.
Underslung front sloping down tube, some mtbs have splash guard bosses on frame.
Top tube.
Panniers with foldable bottles.
Bladder pack / bottles in backsack.

In that order.
