Why does the CTCshop have hubs and rims but no spokes?

Why does the CTCshop have hubs and rims but no spokes?

Looked all over the web site and there is no where where you can order a pack of spokes to go with the hubs and rims...

then forget that order and go to spacycles.
those chaps are very good, and do all you could ask of an internet shop

A CTC spokesman said 'Spokes? Aren't they for bicycles?'

(Incidentally, if you search under 'spoke' they do have a spokeset, whatever that is, but only for a Brompton.)

Because it's just Evans Cycles rather than a more 'rounded' specialist retailer (like Spa mentioned above) - I suspect a lot of people buy their hubs/rims as cheaply as possible online and then take them to someone else to build up hence the online offerings.
