Stevens San Remo, about 10 years old

I'm going to look at a Stevens San Remo tomorrow, does anyone know anything about these bikes???

if it is what I expect it to be it'll have a very stiff aluminium frameset which would probably put me off. For the last few years they have made this bike so that it falls within the RTW price cap and if it is one of those and bought that way it probably owes its present owner virtually nothing. If it is ten years old it will probably have 9s on it, (which is fine by me) and it may or may not be a) corroded and/or b) worn out. Test the STIs carefully; they may be gummed up inside or worse.
