Even better, it was on my commuter, and I just randomly squeezed the tyre tonight in passing whilst doing something else entirely. Would never normally have realised until the morning, much better to sort out tonight.

Hi,
Watching some other cyclist bent over fixing a flat whilst you are waving and passing them

Actually I always stop and ask if they are ok/need a hand?
But then I'm a nice guy.

Hi,
Seriously, one morning three such cases in a few miles, offered help to all of them but they declined and thanked me
Rode across Dartmoor off road and back home about 115 miles, next week rode coast to coast devon and across Exmoor off road 165 miles, day rides, got a slow flat on Exmoor which without my glasses 3.5 mag I would not have found a thorn which resembled just the black tip of posted pic and half the diameter, smallest I have ever extracted in 50+ years of cycling.

Facing a raging head wind ......
The rain beating off your helmet .....
Raindrops hitting your waterproof jacket like bullets ....
Then pushing the electric start on the motor bike and riding away .... thanking god your not on your bicycle ..

Cleaning your bike and finding it covered in tyre sealant because you are riding tubeless tyres and your puncture sealed itself without you even knowing.

Quite right.... but always glad (especially if it's a cold wet day) to be told they are OK....
