Moon Comet Mounts Compatible with Cateye Lights????

Does anybody know if Moon Comet Light mounts are compatible with Cateye lights .... I'm trying to push my light further out from the back of my saddle firstly so I can easily get to the button to switch it on / off and secondly so it would go over the saddle bag which is mounted further forward but hangs down a bit giving me space for a mount between it and the bottom of the saddle

I've posted links to both the Cateye version and the Moon Comet version which seems to have slightly longer "arms".

Alternatively if anyone knows of any other lights that mount on the most rearward part of the saddle bars to achieve the same thing I'd be interested to hear them.

No I don't think so. I just tried a Cateye light in my Moon Nebula mount and the Cateye fixings are a bit bigger and chunkier.

Cheers for that and appreciate you trying ... I rang someone selling the moon comment ones as well and said he had someone who has "made them fit" but he didn't know how he'd done it so maybe he dremeled them down or something but obviously not ideal.

Thanks again !!

AS stated by others they are similar shaped mounts but slightly different sized. Think there was similar sizing issues with Smart LEDs as I had both way back then, seeing a spare bracket thinking it would be OK for one light then trying it and finding it was for the other light.
