The video gxaustin linked to shows an SM-BB52 which means the bottom bracket shell is, almost certainly, a normal 68mm threaded one. Whether you fit an EBB, square taper or something else is entirely your choice.

Is the BB shell threaded ?
If it isn't threaded then it is a "press fit" type.

You can measure across the faces of the shell and there are generally two sizes.
68mm - which is now the standard road size.
73mm - meant for MTB chainsets.

Both have different chainlines and can effect which chainset & front derailleur can be used.
You'll never know if you don't try it.

any shimano MTB chainset with HTII type BB can work on a 73mm wide BSC threaded BB shell.

I presume that square taper chainsets and cartridge BB's are still available if preferred ?

Surely Cube technical info on their website or emailing them will get you the correct spec you need?
