Brompton chain tensioner jockey wheels - clean or replace?
The plastic chain tensioner that doubles as the derailluer mech. has a pair of jockey wheels that I find partcularly hard to clean. Dirt seems to get impacted deep into the recesses and no amount of soaking or brushing seems to get them really clean. Today, I spent waaaay too long poking about with the small curved blade of a folding corkscrew - the one you used to cut round the foil that covered the cork (remember them?). The two jockey wheels came up clean enough in the end, but I made a mental note to ask you folks how you clean the pesky things. Or do you, at 15 pounds a pair, simply replace them. Any tips?!

two suggestions
1) remove them for cleaning
2) hot pressure wash them. Lube carefully afterwards, obviously.
cheers
