Question, any guesses for the design of this seat mount :-
The bike is a normal hybrid.

whether this 'solves the problem of saddle theft' by being a brilliant piece of design or by being a saddle so horrible that you wouldn't want to sit on it (leave alone nick it) is open to question....?

Spoil sport, I was hoping for a few random guesses!
Yes, it is a seatylock. The owner put some money up as crowd funding, got the end result 3 years later. Not the most comfortable thing to sit on as you say.
Now its all very rattley on it's pivots, until sat upon.
