An updated pompino with larger clearances is in the list. Petition Brant to make it in 853.

Just for the avoidance of doubt, On One and P X are one and the same, aren't they?

If you post his name three times he will appear.

Trashed several rims on my last SSer. Used entirely on gravel. Hence discs for me. Actually just one at the front as a fixed is used at the back. Easy to just bung a fork in though.

£750 for that genesis bike?! i wouldn't want a carbon fork for a winter commuter.

pompinos are decent frames, not light, but not bad.

didn't PX scale down the company a few years ago? i wouldn't be surprised if they no longer have the bank facilities to order large amounts of frames to be shipped to the UK anymore. they seemed to do huge amounts previously.

That's good to hear.

What do you mean by that?

I’m going to look at a secondhand Kennedy bike later on, from Kennedy City Cycles. It looks like a sweet, svelte bike. Familiar to anybody?

Perhaps it was discontinued due to public decency issues regarding it's name.

Long standing joke originating on STW forum where Brant was/is a regular poster.

Is. He’s been posting about the new 29” Scandal in the last couple of days.

What a strange and inappropriate name for a bike
I wish it were as easy as riding a bike

Marcus T, many of us didn't even realise the meaning of the name until it was explained. But I guess if don't speak Italian, you wouldn't!

pioneer wrote:Thanks all. Will now review my possible bike list. The Charge Plug and a couple from Evans are on it. A Surly Steamroller would be nice, but now at silly money IMO.

Could also add the Brother Cycles 'All Day' to that list. A fixed frame with room for wide tyres and guards, but Steamroller price.
