I use (non-plus) Marathons. I've found they've always worked well for me, deal okay with minor off-road, seem to roll okay, pretty tough, come in lots of sizes. We have done a family holiday entirely shod with Marathons, zero issues.

I did 500 miles touring around the Outer Hebrides on Schwalbe Land Cruisers. The continuous centre bead gives friction free rolling on tarmac and the MTB tyre side knobbles mean riding rough tracks and muddy spots a breeze. Unique multipurpose tyres.

In which case these are probably better due to folding and being cheaper : https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TYVTRNDP/vittoria-randonneur-pro-folding-tyre. I have one on the shelf but not tried ityet; I have just worn out a rigid randonneur - no idea how many miles but no punctures and Its pair from the front is now on the back and looks to have at least a couple of thousand miles left.

The folding version is even better as it has a lot more supple 120tpi carcass compared to the wired version's 60tpi carcass

Schwalbe G-One Allround Raceguard

I've been using JacK Brown green on my do it all bike, nominally 33.3mm and comes up precisely to that on the non tubeless/traditional Open Pro 15mm rim. Nice rolling, seems to be decently puncture proof so far though you can buy the 'blue' version which is a bit heavier and has more puncture protection. Both available from Planet X.
An inexpensive option is the 32mm Clement Strada LGG wire bead £9.99 from PX https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TYCLSTLGG ... -tyre-700c.

If you have wider rims then tyres such as the Panaracer Evo A in a 28mm will come up significantly wider, on my H+Son TB14s they are an actual 31mm, ridiculously fast tyre.
