Is this one of those things like suspension pedals?
It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best,
since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.
Thus you remember them as they actually are...

There are helmets that have Bluetooth speakers built into them - I think Coros and Lumos, but have no idea if the batteries are replaceable. I would have thought that they are rechargeable via a USB port.

I would doubt that any do have replaceble batteries.

Replaceable batteries are usually not too small, round, and hard, and not the sort of thing that it's good to have between your head and the road in the event of a crash.
A built in LiPo (or similar) battery on the other hand, can be made thin and flat (and maybe not too hard, depending on chemistry), which would be crashable on. The downside is that you can't generally just go out and buy one.

Someone will prove me wrong now :)

I'd have thought the best thing to do would be to investigate the use of a USB powerbank in a pocket, with a lead up the the helmet charging port.

And there's nothing wrong with it!

I agree with one of the comments above, a battery inside a helmet sound like an hazard anyway.

One of the battery helmets I vaguely remember reading of used a bluetooth-linked PMR (walkie talkies), so you could talk to riding companions who weren't currently alongside you (up to 3 km, line of sight permitting).
