It's Specialites T.A., commonly just "TA"
The same logo is visible here: http://www.blackbirdsf.org/ta/stamp.html

You can still get replacement chainrings
https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m2b0s148p0/ ... clotourist
(though you may have a different model)

Older versions tend not to work too well with modern front mechs, as there isn't much of a gap between the outer chainring and the crank arm, and modern mechs have wider cages that will hit the crank.

TA, a French brand. We have one on a 30 year old tandem and I also have a more modern version on a solo. From the condition probably TA Cyclotouriste, around in the 70s/80s.

Is it chrome or polished steel?

It is an aluminium alloy.
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

there is quite a good write-up on older TA stuff here

http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/components/ta-chainrings-comp.html

TA made chainrings in a very wide range of formats, both for their cranks and cranks from other manufacturers.

OP's photo (I think) just shows the spider arm at the bottom; if so, it isn't a 'cyclotouriste', but it could be a 3-pin 'randonneur' type chainring set, or one meant for a third party crank.

cheers

TA makes chain rings in large number of formats.
It is handy to be able to buy new chain rings for a 50 year old crank.

Trade-mark on one of mine...
T.A.'s stamp on an aluminium alloy chainring
T.A.'s stamp on an aluminium alloy chainring

Any ideas where I can find a cover like this? Thanks to everyone who has replied to my last post.

It vaguely looks like a cover off a BMX style BB, which is somewhat at odds with your previous enquiry!
What is it off, and what size is it?

These were the measurements I got off it. It's a cover for a left crankset of the vintage bike set that other comments have listed.
