Drop in replacement for cateye stealth evo+

Post by brucelee »

Hi just trashed this, I have heart and speed/cadence sensor that are ANT+. Cateye seem to have switched over to Bluetooth, Can anyone suggest a drop in replacement that will use these sensors.
Also I understand some phones do ANT+, I have a redmi note 5, any pointers to using this with these sensors.
I get the impression that garmin stuff will work with these - is this correct ? They're soooo expensive .... My raspberry PI is glaring at me ....
Cheers,
Bruce.

ANT+ uses the same radios as Bluetooth - the differences are in the signalling protocol. Many phones have the software to talk to ANT+ devices. Try here: https://www.thisisant.com/consumer/ant- ... -in-phones
