Tyre size

Postby moruglah » 24 Jun 2020, 5:02pm

Hiya all. My Teman is running 23c and are like rubber bands.
Does anyone know what size tire would fit the frame?
Here are some pics also.

I would say looking at your photos comfortably 25mm and probably 28mm, assuming no mudguards. NB some manufacturers tyres are narrower or wider than another's for a given nominal section.

25mm is as far as I’d want to go with that set up personally.

you might be able to squeeze 28mm tyres in there, but if small stones get picked up (not uncommon when the road surface gets hot in summer; the tar melts) they can get carried round and cause mischief.

BTW the photos appear to have been taken with a very short focal length lens (phone camera?) so the clearance may not be quite as it appears in the pictures.

cheers
