Sod the message on the jersey - just don't wear lycra (or equivalent) if there is slightest chance that the flesh on your derriere is going to wobble... now, that's not a good look. If there is that chance, and you can't resist the silky (if artificial) feel of that dreaded fabric, just slip on a nice pair of stout cotton shorts as well, please!

Foska, very good indeed, and I have the Cornwall jersey from them. Excellent quality.

However, I will not buy their Marmite jersey.
I like Marmite, and even perhaps quite like it ................. but HATE is a horrible expression, even though it is the opposite to love.

Hate means so much more in this day and age.

If they had the Marmite jersey in like Marmite on the front, and dislike jams - which I don't, other than traffic jams - it would be much better.

As a governor of two schools I have not come across that. And the head has not heard it either.

Mrs Mick F was until last year, a long-standing HLTA (high level teaching assistant) and I've just asked her about what the children were taught about "hate".

She said that it was always discouraged as there are much nicer words to describe what they like and do not like.

What were these other approved words?
Without hate there would be no love.

(Maybe hell is no longer allowed, nor nuts as a description of a state of mind)

Ps, please tell the mrs that in my day teachers discouraged us from using the word nice - not because it was considered morally dodgy/politically incorrect, but supposedly because it crippled imagination/descriptive powers/vocabulary development.
