how to get internet streaming films in my garage?

I am using the films on my tacx trainer indoors as my internet doesn't reach into my garage. Can anyone suggest how I make it reach into the garage? I guess that it will need to be a strong signal for streaming the films. The garage is a separate outside building and the internet would need to reach 20 metres.
I've seen something about mesh routers giving the best signal, some cheap some pretty pricey.
Thanks

A long ethernet cable will sort you out a treat. no worries about wifi as you wont be using it all the time just coil it up till next time you need it.

Does the electricity supply to the garage come from the house?

If so my first choice would be send the signal down that. The adaptors can also act as wireless base stations. This sort of thing although I'm not up to date on models:

you have a number of options, A better Router would help as would position it ion the house to give better line of site. you could always use a booster available from various places, another option are devices available to use over your power lines but be warned they can reduce your broadband speed overall . you need about 6m bandwidth for movies.

As well as being by far the cheapest solution, assuming the Tacx has an RJ45 socket.

I use an outdoor wifi repeater to cover an area of about 30m radius (with 3 of 4 bars on the signal). Doesn't need to be wired in to the router either, just repeats a wifi signal that it is picking up. You can get them for 50 quid. Worth it if you have a garden, but your neighbours might think you are enjoying yourself in your shed.

WiFi repeater.
Dead simple, and there's no limit to how many you can have.
Our router is in the back bedroom (we live in a bungalow) and the repeater is in the front porch. We can get a WiFi connection 25yds away in the front garden. We could fit another one in the shed, and that would get another 25yds.

We have a mains socket in the loft, so I could fit one there and we could "broadcast" all around.

This is ours.

I would second this, but it is dependant on your garage having an electricity supply from the house. I was using a wifi repeater in my house which worked well enough for most purposes but when I started using the RGT App with my smart trainer I was getting quite a lot of clitches. I put this down to teething problems with the beta software. But in the end I changed my wifi repeater for a powerline extender, in my case a Tenda PH5 PV1000, and the problem was solved. I have to assume that I was getting drop out as the download speed tests were satisfactory. Also bear in mind that a wifi repeater will only give as strong a signal as where it is placed, and then it will obviously lose some. As there is no appreciable difference in price between wifi extenders and powerline extenders my preference based on my experience would be for the latter if it can be used.

Whether this works or not will depend on how the power circuits are wired at the consumer unit. The router IP to power socket connection may need to be on the same power circuit as the garage socket (i.e. on the same ring main).
