Classic Raleigh Chloe need some help with tyre size

The 650b/27.5" wheel size has come back into fashion, so tyres and parts are easier to find, although most tyres on the market would be quite a bit wider than the current ones.

This pertinent. I wonder if the 26x1 3/8 tyres the OP has ordered will fit. They probably will but it might be tight.

Raleigh 26 x 1 3/8 I ended up with raleigh white wall tyres and just to make it clear a modern 26 inch tyre will not fit.

The issue with correct tubes and tyres I had was manufactured tyre wired size varies between tyres one was very loose and needed careful seating to get it even and bead right, the other was very tight and needed to check wired bead was out and even to hooked rim.

I spent an hour getting these to sit correctly and round.
