I'm pretty sure UK-based cyclists, pedestrians and drivers will expect a UK crossing to be used in a UK way! Good point about cyclists from countries where these things work in another way; but then this applies to simple zebras too (not to mention eg traffic lights).

How on earth does anyone know what to do at this crossing? It has lights but it also has stripes! The stripes are multicoloured and they don't go the conventional direction! Everyone is so confused!
