Generally speaking tyres with an 'imperial' diameter and a 'metric' width are an entirely different diameter to tyres with an 'imperial' diameter and an 'imperial' width. Hopefully somewhere on both there will be an ISO sizing, you need to match the ISO diameter.

It will not fit as far as I'm aware.
I sized a 26 X 1 3/8 and a 26 X 1.5 and physically the 1.5 was far too small.

A page of 24x1 3/8'' here (32-540), wheelchair use specifically mentioned. Along with ones in different widths, but the same rim size.

Re wheelchair use, Schwalbe do some of their otherwise standard tyres in a wheelchair version with smooth sidewalls to be a bit kinder to the hands of users. The adult son of one of our neighbours is a very active wheelchair user and when I spoke to him about this some time ago now, he'd been on an independent tour in South America and was really pleased with the Schwalbes.

Cheers guys was contemplating the tyres in the Fir Sale section but clearly it's a no go.
