Are you allowing for the notorious Shimano sizing?

These in black are great. https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/dhb ... prod164174
I bought a pair 3 years ago and use them for commuting and at weekends so they get a lot of use. They have a good stiff sole, are very comfortable, resist light rain, you can walk in them and aren't sweaty. Mine still look like new. Best cycling shoes I've ever used. And at a great price at the moment. I'm tempted to buy another pair even though mine are showing no signs of wear.

I have a pair of Shimano RT81, think they were marketed as a touring shoe, but are fine for any purpose. Had them for longer than I can remember. The sizing on them is absolutely fine with a roomy toe area.
