Hi All
Having had hip surgery I am currently using half toe clips rather than clipless SPD pedals. Prior to this I've used clipless for 25 years (A520s). I am looking to get back to clipless but want very easy release. I always used the A520s on the loosest setting anyway so am considering Click'r or ED-500s as a first option.
Does anyone have experience of these? Better still has anyone tried them both and compared the level of ease to release. I've been cycling for decades, used clips and clipless so just looking for comments from those who've used Shimano light action pedals. Many thanks
Click'r vs ED-500 pedals

I've been using these on two bikes and very happy with them. Always possible to release from the cleats in all directions(not just sideways) and have never felt 'trapped'. I've never experienced that panic feeling and have easily released my feet from them even in 'emergency' situations. Recommended and I wouldn't go back to ordinary cleat pedals.
