Thank you for that lead which I’ve tried to follow up, some tyres that are available in the USA are not always available in the U.K. . From a more general 27 x 1 3/8 search this morning I’m finding forum comments to the effect that what’s written on the sidewall and in marketing information isn’t accurate, 1 3/8” might be stated but you’ll be lucky to get 1 1/4” in use.Sid Aluminium wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 4:33pmThe 27" Intelligencia in the USA suggests the Swift Tire Sand Canyon, sidewall labeled 27 x 1 3/8.Carlton green wrote: ↑2 Nov 2021, 11:09pmDoes anyone know of a good replacement for the World Tour tyre that inflates oversize?

The only thing that I recon that anyone can do is to measure the (over bead) width across the face of flattened out 32 - 630 labelled tyres, the wider ones could inflate fatter. Unfortunately it’s rather hard to find and visit anywhere that has a selection of tyres to do that measurement on. Why am I fussed about inflated width? Well in my experience the fatter they inflate the comfier the ride and the more likely the wheel is to not suffer damage. I’ll continue to keep a look-out for what’s available in the U.K. .
