Out of interest, do you have to find the right sized banana to fit in your protector, or do people carry different sized protectors?!

Best to get a flexible one. When it's cold bananas can shrink a lot, but during the summer when the 'seeing' is good they can also expand a surprising amount.

However I suspect if mixed up and used in error you could tell the bananaguards as they would be :
a. uncomfortable
b with the holes - ineffective
