Like a number of others, I use ankle bands instead of pedal reflectors. They are more reflective, and so comply with the spirit, but definitely not with the letter, of the law.

They are still obstructed by panniers, and of course by the ground for those of us who ride recumbents (I don't).

I know this is an old post but i think I may be running into the same issue but then I found this in a bag of junk I had. I have no idea where I got it from but I would like more pieces like it. Anyone can help me out?

It does look like a bit from a rear light bracket but there's no standardisation of parts across brands as far as I know, so finding one "like" it could be very difficult and even if you did, I reckon it would come with the rest of the bracket and not as an individual part.

I've used a couple of "P" clips wrapped around the rack tube, spaced for the lamps attachement points.
