Forums for bike classifieds?
I am looking to buy some parts and budget constraints mean I am looking 2nd hand. When I sort out what I want I will put an ad on the forum here and I am watching the fs ads here as well. Are there any other similar classified boards that are recomended? I have been looking on ebay but never really feel comfortable with it for some reason although I suppose it is probably safer then a forum.
I have registered at retrobike and sigletrak world. Does anyone have any experience with those?

I've bought loads on both of those forums and very seldom had any problems. Do a bit of a profile check on sellers though. Pink bike is another big one, I get the impression there are more dodgy people about on there as well as plenty of decent ones, bit don't have any experience on that forum.freebooter wrote: ↑24 May 2009, 3:20pm I am looking to buy some parts and budget constraints mean I am looking 2nd hand. May also be approaching any local bicycle recycling charities. Many of those take in bikes, fix them up, sell them, and will have bits and pieces from bikes available. Some have explicit "parts" sales, others might be a matter of asking nicely.

Haha, maybe they are very picky?
I would also suggest Retrobike’s classifieds
Best wishes
