I am planning on cycling along the Camino to compostella this coming October. I would be interested in hearing from anybody who has done this before.

Always take the walkers route if you can, and push your bike along with the walkers. You will enjoy the bonhomie of the road better that way.

If I do it again I shall go all through France from St. Malo ; it is such a delightful ride.

there are two books by well known women cyclists, using different approaches from France; i.e. Bettina Selby & Ann Mustoe (not sure whether i'm allowed to quote authors ). & Cicerone cover the trip for bikers.

There have been more books written about the route and the pilgrimage to Santiago than any other
journey. Starting in about the 11thC AD.
Many thousands have been written mainly in Spanish.
