A friend gave me a rigid MTB frame that he was going to throw out and I've started using it as my commuter. Then I can keep the MK3 light and always ready for a quick jaunt out. The MTB is also very good with my child seat on the back as we mainly ride on towpaths and similar as a family. Anyways though I digress.
Want to change the handlebars and have considered trekking bars but don't want to have to change the stem so that the handlebars don't end up closer to me. Found these those on SJS and wondered if anyone has used them or something similar? How easily do the shifters and brakes levers go on with the bends? Genral thoughts on them?
Cheers.

They just sent me the same bars on my new bike, instead of simpler bullhorn bars. I had to cut off the last turn in order to fit a handlebar bag. Such bullhorn bars are great touring bars I've found. Especially for climbing. They are best of all for climbing standing up.
