Having tried to get to Fishguard by train to do the ride (west to east) train delays forced me to abandon the trip.
I had thought of of cycling both ways but as a last resort has anyone got any ideas of how to get to Fishguard without having to rely on trains?

One way van hire if you can find a company with a reasonably close dropping off point. We do that for Cornish & Breton trips & I'm thinking of it for a JoG-Home. (No point doing End to End when you live in the middle!)
