NEW TOURING SHORTS

Postby sexy wheels » 27 Mar 2011, 6:02pm

I am in the market for a new pair of touring shorts. My old ones worn out. :oops:

I would like a baggy pair with pockets (not Lycra) and not mountain bike shorts which come to your knees.

Any ideas ? ? ? ? ?

I've just ordered a pair from Bspoke, presently on sale and look like a bargain, the photo looks a bit long in the leg, but for the price worth a punt;

Bspoke kit seems to get all right reviews on the Evans website. I like he look of their tee shirt style tops. p

Let us now what the shorts are like as I'm looking for a pair. I already have a pair of endura shorts, can't tell you what they are as they don't have the style name on them, which I like but variety is the spice of life

Unpadded touring shorts from Corinne Dennis http://www.corinnedennis.co.uk/shorts.html?gender=2 If you need a pad then add padded undies.

Polaris Nexus padded shorts http://www.dotbike.com/ProductsP1850.as ... mpaign=FGL shops only seem to have small or XL so maybe these are being phased out. I cut out the floating pad because I don't like it.

Yeah Polaris Nexus short are no longer available unless your a size small, I was after another pair of these this year and was told they are no longer being made. They were the best shorts I`ve worn, still got one pair left that should last me out this summer.

I have an unworn pair of Polaris Breezers bought at York rally a few years ago,they are labelled small but the elasticated waist extends to 34 ins.if these are of any interest to you.
