Feed and drink stations

Post by TomTurner »

Hi

I am new to racing and looking forward to taking part in sportives later this year. I notice that most events have feeding and drink stations, and I was wondering how they work...

E.g. what do you do with your water bottle? do you stop so they can fill it up?

Apologies for what is probably a simple question...

Cheers,

Tom

It varies. Some fill up your bottle, others provide bottled water.

Sportives are not races they are Audaxes for wannabe racers!

You should try audaxes. A more challenging ride for the discerning cyclist.

Not to mention cheaper and usually better cake! :D

Dont bet on it, they are fast disappearing from our neck of the woods.
High command have taken an envious look at the success of sportives and are in the process of getting more like them.
Phase one being the eradication of small Audax rides, like well... West Wales!

This year is your last year, get in QUICK.
