I was watching the mens Olympic road race yesterday and was amazed to see so many riders stop for a natural break in Richmond Park on the outward leg, what would that be about 10k from the start?
Cant believe they all forgot to go before the start or was it nerves?

If they felt anything like I did they were just showing how much they were, er, how can I put it? .... Disgruntled.

Re: Natural Breaks
Well, I usually have to stop soon after the cafe break on our club runs, even though I have used the facilities just before leaving. I am normally the oldest rider, so that explains it. It's a good job I can still sprint back on, but any day soon...
