Crazyguyonabike ?

Post by s2vmx »

Tech advise please .....

In the last couple of days each time I try to go to the Crazyguyonabike website I get a message warning me about there is a problem with the Website's Security Cetificate - Is there something I can do about it ?
(I am using IE8 or some version of IE anyway) ?

Thanks

Stu

It often means the website admin needs to buy a new certificate. This is only really used to prove they are who they say they are.

A computer buff tell me this simply means the website uses software that may be safe/competent in itself, but they have not submitted it to Microsoft for testing/compatability. Am open to correction on this.
Its abit like Mr Shimano saying you need to use Shimano cables/chains/cassettes for his gear mechs to work.

Only that it's entirely and completely false :). Microsoft have nothing to do with it.

Neil Gunton the site owner has just updated some operating stuff and it does cause a few probs. he is working it all out so no probs at all with the CGOAB website.
