Polar heart rate monitor spares.

Post by cycle cat »

Can anyone tell me if you can get spare o rings for the watch unit?
I know you're supposed to send the watch bit back to Polar, but mine are out of warranty so I change the batteries myself.
I'm not going to go swimming with them.
Thank goodness for soup.

I don't think the job is not as simple as unscrewing the back and knocking out the battery and putting a fresh one in.

I can't remember how much I paid to have my battery changed but it wasn't very expensive.

You can probably get them from Polar UK HQ, which is on a Business Park near Warwick (can't remember the address). I actually called in there with my son's HRM and they changed the battery while I waited.

Edit:

Here it is:

Polar Electro (UK) Ltd
Polar House
Unit L, Heathcote Way
Heatcote Industrial Estate
Warwick CV34 6TE
England

Tel. +44 (0)1926 310 330

You could send it back, but they will charge you if it's out of warranty. New battery plus fitting was £12 on a £200 HRM.
