Its like the Vulcan salute in Star Trek........
Ring finger and little finger = ulnar nerve = handlebar palsy
thumb, index and middle = carpal nerve = pressure on carpal tunnel.
The linky in my earlier post has information.

When I looked for some ergo grips, I found that they are available in many shapes and sizes, but almost all of them are grey and plastic looking.
I eventually found these: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/pdw-dapper-d ... prod24066/

They are very comfy and rather stylish. The thick leather seems to soak up a lot of vibration.

Some might disagree but it made a lot of difference to me when I went back to handlebars measuring 24mm in diameter from 21.5mm.

grip the bars from below, thumbs outside, palms facing up,a little awkward untill you get used to it.i alternate both gripping positions and dont get any handle bar stress.
