Vittoria Randonneur Pro 26" x 1.5"

Post by deliquium »

Does anyone know what size this actually measures on something like a 17mm (int. width) rim?

I have a 700c version in 32mm and it only measures 28.8mm mounted and pumped

Meaningless statistics - WHY? The bead diameter is correctly described.

They roll better than the Schwalbe City Jets I had before. The bike is just a city hack bike, they had BOGOF on them at Decathlon so seemed too good to miss at £15 a pair. No punctures yet, unlike the Schwalbes. Sheffields roads are pretty potholed too

Thanks for the info again - I'm running Schwalbe 26" x 1.5" Marathon Racers on the shopping bike and am thinking something different for the latest "acquisition/guest" bike

I'm pretty certain that the Randonneur Pro is a different carcass construction from the basic Randonneur. It's not just the bead difference.

Jep, the pros should be 120tpi while the ordinary ones are 30tpi.
