Hi all,
Does anyone know where I may be able to source a Kinesis Decade Tripster Frameset? I've been looking but can only find the titanium (ATR) version stocked.
Thanks

Those are some ugly forks.
Re: Kinesis Decade Tripster
I think that may be an older model, and yes, those forks are so ugly.
I've e-mailed Kinesis and asked the question but haven't had a reply from them yet.
Anyway, thanks for your replies, and if I do get an answer from Kinesis, I'll post it here in case anyone else may be interested.

I looked at this, but decided was too expensive. However, it is a phenomenally practical and flexible bike, being able to take discs / rim brakes, as well as 26 or 700c wheels. 33x700 and guards, or 700x23 on rim brakes, or full on disc equipped MTB, or any combination in between... Great "1 bike to do everything" frame. (As I already had 4 built and 3 unbuilt bikes, didn't seem to be able to justify a "1 bike does everything" kind of animal... Wife might start asking questions. )
Re: Kinesis Decade Tripster
I don't think it is designed to run rim brakes unless you could possibly fit the longest of long reach callipers - but I'm not sure even then that the forks have a through hole at the crown to fit one (some of the Kinesis forks only have a bolt hole at the back for mudguard fitting).

The Tweeks frameset shown is the old model with the original DC19 fork.
The later model is supplied with the very good looking DC37 fork.
The frameset is specifically designed to use disc calipers not rim brakes.
It may not be a cheap frameset but it is not an expensive one either. It was ahead of it's time when it was first brought to the market with disc brake fittings, there are now a large number of road bikes with disc brakes now. However there are still very few which will accept full mudguards, panniers and wide tyres, I built mine up as a lightweight tourer.
