it isn't as easy as mild steel, I grant you. But very far from impossible, and the end result is usually worth it. Just a question of using sharp tools, the right lubricants and pressures/feeds etc.

I must admit I'd probably use a drill press on the holes, and probably angle grinder (with various different discs) for the slotting and shaping though; it is a lot easier!
