I have an Ortlieb bag and use a Rixen Kaul Klickfix mount with distance set (upside down) and multiclip. I made the cables longer and fed them down through the mount. Works very nicely.
I did try V-noodles but thought they were ugly and don't work smoothly.

The theory is simple: a) cycling is inherently fun, and b) the less weight you carry, the more fun it is.

Just a word of caution if you do decide to simply push the cables out of the way: be careful where they end up...
