British Grand prix
We are planning to go on the Sunday for the race . Does anyone know if you can take cycles in or if there is bicycle parking facilities ?

Don't know, but I've often thought it would be a really sensible thing to do.

That's what I think , knowing how bad the traffic gets ,it seems the most logical thing to do . But then the circuit would lose my £50 parking fee, so they might no want to encourage to many people cycling in .

I've seen secure parking in a series of garages there. "Pits" or summat, IIRC

I live in Northamptonshire and I could ride from home ,but would be to far for my wife . So plan to park 5 miles away and ride the rest .

I live not far from Silverstone but I never go anywhere near the place Grand Prix weekend so I can't answer your question. But I do know there is a cycle shop there and you could contact them and ask - http://www.silverstonecycle.co.uk/contact-us-2-w.asp

Bought tickets for my son's 40th. Also bought him Park and Ride pass - only £10.
